Kay Humbert

Kay Humbert, OT, has been fortunate to have been a Timber Creek Tiger since 2015. Before finding one of her most favorite jobs at TCE, “Miss Kay” worked in Great Britain on the Isle of Wight, in Altus, Oklahoma, and most often near her homes in the north Texas area.   Having worked predominantly with adults, TCE has been a refreshing place to serve students who are getting to learn things for the first time – how exciting!  Miss Kay is inspired by her family of Daniel, Josiah, Sadie and Ziya, her canine buddy Zeus, and music.  You will often hear the classic rock of the 70’s and 80’s , or see her lip-sync while wearing ear buds.   Miss Kay attended Texas A & M to study veterinary science, yet changed her major to occupational therapy.  After completing her degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Tx, she framed her UT diploma in maroon (Gig ‘em Ags).   Still holding fast to the love of serving animals, Miss Kay learned Equine Myofascial Release (deep massage) and has used it to help therapy horses get their own special attention.  If you would like to know more about Kay Humbert, OT, please feel free to reach out to her in person or by email.
