Mrs. Lapesigue was a Teacher Assistant at Timber Creek Elementary for 9 years and will be one of our new SDI Teachers this school year. Teaching and working with kids is her passion. She loves talking, playing, caring and learning from her students. She graduated from the University of San Jose Recoletos with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management abroad and finished an associate course in Elementary education, that’s where her teaching passion started.  Since she loves being a teacher she worked abroad in the Philippines for 10yrs teaching kids that are abandoned and abused. Then she moved to Louisiana, Baton Rouge  and taught there for 5yrs in Special Education. But then she wanted to be with her family in Texas so she moved to the great State of Texas in 2013 with her husband and started working in LISD as a substitute Teacher. 

Mrs. Lapesigue has been married for 17 yrs to her husband, Noel and loves spending time with him all the time. They both like to travel, eat, watch movies, hike, ride bikes and sing karaoke at home.
