Hello!  I'm so happy to introduce myself.  My name is Krista Haines, and I'm thrilled to say that this is my 19th year teaching in LISD.  I teach 7th grade ELA and 8th grade GT.  My goal is that your students leave my classroom loving literature and enjoying writing a little more than they did when they entered.

I have two children of my own.  My son, Parker, is newly married and lives in Ft. Worth!  My daughter Karsen is starting her freshman year at Texas A&M University. I've been married to my sweet husband, Gary, for 25 years.
