I am Ms Athens and I teach 6th grade science. I am also head of the Science department and I coach the Science and Calculator UIL Teams. I graduated from Poteet High School in Mesquite,
then went on and received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education from the University of North Texas in 2005. I have wanted to be a teacher since the 3rdgrade. My 3rd grade teacher inspired me and I looked up to her as a role model throughout all of my years of education. I love teaching and there is no other career path I would want to go down. My hobbies include: cooking,
traveling, reading, shopping, and spending lots of time with family and friends. My favorite sport: baseball. My favorite foods include: Greek, Mexican, and Italian.
