I am originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and lived there for 7 years. I have one older brother. My mother was an educator and my father was in telecommunications. He worked at GTE (now Verizon) which led us to moving to Terre Haute, Indiana for 2 years. We were later transferred to Texas where I grew up in Grapevine. I attended Grapevine/Colleyville ISD schools and graduated from Colleyville Heritage High School in 1999. After high school, I attended the University of North Texas to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice in 2002. This will be my 5th year at Creek Valley Middle school working as a BIC Teacher.
