     Equitable Excellence Scholarship

    Several scholarships available and a $1,000 grant will be given to every winner's high school.  

    Applicants to the Equitable Excellence Scholarship Program must:

    • Be United States citizens or legal residents living or claiming residency in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
    • Be current high school seniors who reside and attend high school in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or Washington D.C.
    • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States** by Fall 2021.
      **Enrollment at an accredited postsecondary institution outside of the United States may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
    • Be willing to provide a release to publicize their identities and information about their achievements along with photographs for use in program promotion and information.

    The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides four-year scholarships of $30,000 and extensive support services, including career guidance and internship placement, to highly motivated African American students who have maintained a 98% college graduation rate.

    CoServ is proud to support high school seniors as they pursue their education at an institution of higher learning in the state of Texas. In 2021, we will award $35,000 to seven outstanding college-bound students committed to building a better tomorrow.     Scholarship in the amount of $1,500 will be awarded to students attending either a four year university or a community college.

    To be eligible for scholarship consideration, you must:

    • Meet LISD Enrollment: Applicant must be a Lewisville ISD Senior with plans to attend college/university the following fall semester. Scholarships not claimed within one year will no longer be available.
    • Have not been selected for a FULL scholarship from another source.
    • Complete online Scholarship Application, including special essays and references if applicable for specific scholarships.

    Thousands of $500 scholarships available 

    The College Board Opportunity Scholarships program is currently open to class of 2022 students in the United States, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Territories, regardless of citizenship status. U.S. citizens and residents attending Department of Defense Education Activity schools abroad may also participate.

    2021 Qualifications

    • Be an incoming freshman

    • Live within or parents live in Denton County  

    • Graduate of a Denton County High School

    • Have been ACCEPTED to Texas A&M University College Station for the upcoming fall semester

    • Complete and submit the application by the deadline mentioned on the application.
