Male or Female High School graduating senior

Flower Mound Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association Scholarships
- Gerry Arts Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Marcus High School or Flower Mound High School who is majoring in Education or Criminal Justice. The awardee must be a Flower Mound resident and admitted to a regionally accredited college or university in the upcoming college semester.
- Jim Hammerquist Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from a LISD public high school, private high school, charter school or home schooled. The awardee must be a resident of Flower Mound and admitted to a regionally accredited college, university or an accredited vocational school in the upcoming college semester.
- FMCPAAA Scholarship: This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from a LISD public high school, private high school, charter school or home-school. The awardee must be a resident of Flower Mound and admitted to a regionally accredited two-year college or an accredited vocational/technical school in the upcoming college semester.
The window for applying for these scholarships will open on December 20, 2021 and will close on April 15th, 2022. The scholarship winners will be announced in May of 2022. Knights of Columbus Scholarships
FOR 2021-22, THE LOCAL KNIGHTS OFFER FIVE $800 SCHOLARSHIPS
ELIGIBILITY
THREE $800 CASH SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED TO COLLEGE-BOUND CATHOLIC SENIORS:
- one Catholic senior from Lewisville High
- one Catholic senior from Marcus High
- one Catholic senior from Flower Mound High
These three students’ parents need not necessarily attend St. Philip the Apostle or Our Lady of Lebanon, nor must the student’s father be a member of Council 9884.
Additionally, TWO $800 CASH SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED TO COLLEGE-BOUND CATHOLIC SENIORS with the next two highest judged applications. These two Catholic seniors may come from:
- Lewisville High, Marcus, High, or Flower Mound High OR
- any high school or charter school if they are regular members of the St. Philip's Youth Group (S.P.Y), regardless of their parents' parish OR
- a Catholic high school OR home-schooled in the Catholic faith if any one of these applies:
- the senior is a member of S.P.Y.
- the senior’s parent(s) are a member of St. Philip the Apostle or Our Lady of Lebanon
- the senior’s father is a member of Council 9884
In addition to the $800 cash scholarship, the five winners, along with their parents, will be honored as guests at the Knights of Columbus Founder’s Day Dinner in the spring of 2021, health guidelines permitting.
Application for the scholarship entails completing 1) the attached cover sheet, 2) two activity summaries with the provided signature sheet, signed by a church official (e.g. youth minister, sacristan, pastor) and a school official (e.g. counselor, assistant principal, student council director), and 3) an essay (Please click the "CLICK HERE TO OPEN" button near the top of this article for the application packet).

649 College Scholarship
2022 SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY PROMPT
Describe how your community uniquely contributes to the broader AAPI experience.
The Foundation 649 Scholarship is a grant of $4,000 over the course of 4 years that can be applied to college tuition and expenses. To maintain eligibility each year, there will be a brief check-in and renewal process at the end of each school year.
Details
· Five recipients will be selected
· Each recipient will receive an award of $4,000 USD spread over 4 years
· The award must be renewed each year to receive successive funds (details to come)
· Application deadline is March 1, 2022
· 10 entrants will be selected as finalists for video call interviews by March 31, 2022
· Recipients are announced by April 15, 2022
Requirements
· Be a degree-seeking, full-time student enrolling in a U.S. accredited university in Fall 2022 as a Freshman or transferring from a community college
· Identify as Asian American / Pacific Islander
· Have a track record of involvement and interest in AAPI communities, issues, or causes
· Have demonstrated financial need for the scholarship
· Be a US citizen, resident or foreign national
Application
The application consists of a questionnaire and a short essay (1000 word maximum). Creativity is welcome - alternate media will also be accepted in place of the essay if the applicant chooses (e.g. film, photography, etc.). If you are selected as a recipient, with your permission, we plan to share your submission with our audiences.In addition, applicants should provide the FAFSA SAR (student aid report) that show their EFC (expected family contribution). If you are unable to provide this document, please provide substitute documentation and elaborate in the financial aid section.

Howdy! The Denton County A&M Club is pleased to accept your application for the 2022 scholarship award. Below, you will find pertinent guidelines for completing and submitting your application. Please be sure to read all of the information carefully and fill out the application completely.
The Denton County A&M Club offers this scholarship without regard to race, religious preference, gender, or ethnic origin. All information contained in your application will be held in the strictest of confidence by the scholarship committee, except as noted for the promotion of the scholarship program.
This scholarship application is for incoming freshmen who are enrolling in the Fall of 2022.
The 2022 Denton County A&M scholarship award is for $1,500.
Please carefully read through all of these instructions prior to completing the application.
- Please fill out this application in its entirety; incomplete applications will NOT be accepted.
- Do not include documents in the body of the email, only as attachments.
- Email submissions MUST include all requested documents as attachments, unless a letter or recommendation is being emailed directly to the scholarship committee.
- Emailed letters of recommendation MUST be included as attachments and not written in the body of the email.
- Use a home email address in the event we need to contact you after the school year ends. School emails are often disabled shortly after graduation.
- You may be contacted to provide additional information, including updated financial/scholarship information.
- It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all required attachments (transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.) are submitted by the deadline. The scholarship committee will not be reaching out to applicants for any missing documents. Please ensure that your recommenders are aware of the deadline.
