Hello, my name is Jason Cox. I have been in Texas since 1994 but I spent most of my formative years in Hawaii and therefore I call Honolulu home. I left Hawaii and came to Texas with the purpose of going to college. My Bachelor's degree is from University of North Texas and I have a Master's Degree from Texas Woman's University.

I began my teaching career in 1998 and all of my teaching experience has been done here at Ethridge. I spent my first thirteen years teaching fourth grade and have been in third grade ever since. This year I will be teaching math and science.

I am proud to be part of such a wonderful community. I believe in building great relationships with my students and knowing them on a personal level rather than just academically. I feel that by knowing them on a deeper personal level I will be able to help my students increase in their knowledge and skills more effectively.

I look forward to a wonderful, successful, and productive school year.
