    GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The December newsletter from our school nurse Regina Miller:

The holiday season is upon us, and for many of us it is a “Season of Thanks”. Many seek ways to thank educators who have made an impact this year. There is no better way to do this than through the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation Changing Children’s Lives Award. To present this award on behalf of your favorite educator or educators, simply visit LISDEF.com/Thanks. In return for a donation to LEF of any amount, even as little as $5, you can share your appreciation in your own words. LEF will send that message and a nice certificate to me, the campus principal, and I will present it to your favorite educator at our faculty lunch/meeting just before the winter break. It is a great way to reflect on the awesome impact our Liberty educators have on our students. So remember, visit LISDEF.com/Thanks to thank your favorite educator today!

From all of the staff at Liberty, we wish each of you a relaxing, safe, and family filled break for Thanksgiving.  In this time of Thanksgiving, it is hoped that we will all take time to realize the goodness of our world, the kindness shown each other, recognize the efforts of those who are helpful, and remember that we are all human beings with feelings and emotions, lives and responsibilities, differences and similarities.  Thank you to each of you who are communicative, supportive, involved, and respectful.  School will resume at 7:45am Monday, December 2.

In order to best meet any needs prior to break and to allow all of us an opportunity to spend uninterrupted time with family and friends, please wrap up any communication between school and home by noon Thursday, December 19.  Thank you.
