Our goal is to assist you and your child in having a positive school experience. We have high standards for each and every student that walks through our door. Our mission statement at Homestead states that "Homestead Elementary students, staff and community work in partnership to create a positive, caring learning environment where students will be challenged through collaborative and innovative experiences to succeed in academics and life."

This website has been developed to help you and your child understand the procedures, policies, and rules that are necessary to make Homestead Elementary a productive and safe learning environment.  You will find information about upcoming events, special programs and many other items of interest. Please visit our Facebook and Twitter pages as well.

It is an honor and a privilege to lead this learning community during a time of incredible change and tremendous possibilities. Our challenge is to embrace the 21st Century and assure that our students are equipped to become our future leaders. We believe everyone can and will achieve when we partner with our community.

I’m so pleased with Homestead's commitment of staff, families, and community members working together. It is our goal to put our students first in everything we do at Homestead.  We welcome your involvement, input and ideas. Working together, we will ensure that each child feels valued and is educated in a safe, caring, and academically-rich learning environment. Please feel free to contact me anytime. My door is always open.
