TECC-W History

  • The Dale Jackson Career Center opened in 1985 and was viewed as one of the premier career and technology centers in the state of Texas. In 2010, the district opened TECC-East giving LISD two facilities dedicated to Career and Technical Education(CTE).  TECC-West opened in the fall of 2020 after retiring the Dale Jackson Career Center.  LISD is committed to providing students authentic experiences with access to the latest industry equipment for all CTE programs.  Our programs prepare students for their future in industry and post-secondary education with intentional training on soft skills and work ethic.
