In First Grade, we make a huge jump in our reading and writing skills.  It is typical to start the year at a level 4-6 and end on a level 16-18.  We thrive with hands-on and engaging activities in First Grade.  First graders are alive with energy and with growing!  First graders enjoy cooperative projects, activities, and tasks.  Teachers allow for a busy level of noise and activity for all First Graders.  We love to ask a lot of questions, as we are active and eager learners.
