Degrees and Certifications:

Marlee Hill

Mrs. Hill has been part of the Timber Creek family since the 2019-2020 school year when she joined the Pre-K team as a special education teacher. She loves getting to help our youngest students with their transition into school and partnering with their families in order to set them up for success. She especially loves the co-teaching model we have here at Timber Creek that allows children with disabilities and those without disabilities to learn from each other as they play and talk together.

Mrs. Hill graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s degree in social work and earned her teaching certification through Texas Teachers. She worked in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD as an autism paraprofessional and self-contained preschool teacher for 2 years before coming to TCE. This past year, Mrs. Hill took on a new challenge and started working on her Master’s degree in Special Education at the University of North Texas. She will graduate later this month and earn her certification as an educational diagnostician!

Mrs. Hill recently celebrated her 3rd anniversary with her husband Aaron, who also works as a special education teacher. In their free time, they enjoy playing board games, cooking and baking, and exploring coffee shops in the area.
