Hello!  My name is Sara Garcia and I am so excited to be your child's 5th grade teacher!  This year will be my 8th year teaching and my 3rd year here at Southridge. I love being a teacher here in LISD! 

I graduated from California State University, Northridge and taught in Los Angeles, CA for 5 years before my husband and I moved to Texas.  We have been married for 9 years and have 2 cats - Hazel and Tuna.  

I can't wait to work with your child and help them acheive their best this year.  This year will be AMAZING!
