Welcome! My name is Ms. Nevárez. Although I was born in El Paso, Texas 40 years ago, I have lived in the North Dallas area for the past 21 years. My teaching career began 11 years ago through an alternative certification program. I was a bilingual/Dual Language teacher for the Lewisville Independent School District for six years before switching over to my current role of Language Acquisition Specialist. This will be my fourth year as a Language Acquisition Specialist and my second year at Southridge. I am excited about this upcoming new year and love working with our emergent bilinguals and the wonderful staff at Southridge.
