Welcome !!

Hi!  My name is Casey Henslee.  This will be my 13th year teaching.  I taught Kindergarten for 6 years and this will be my 7^th year teaching second grade.  In my spare time, I love spending my time with my other half, Tony, and our fur babies (2 cats, Paco and Sammie, and a dog named Akira).  They keep us very entertained and busy!  I enjoy getting to spend time with my family and friends as much as possible.

I attended Lewisville I.S.D. schools for elementary, middle, and high school.  GO FARMERS! I went to Texas Woman’s University.  I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in education and early childhood development.

 I am proud to work in such a great district! 

I come to Southridge each day to make a difference in my students lives.  I believe that each and every child has the ability and the want to learn.  I am excited for a great year!
