The Polar Express Literacy Night, Thursday, December 7th from 5:30 to 7:30. This is a literacy event for the entire family . The night will include:

A 1st Grade singing performance
Families will rotate between 6 rotating LITERACY stations (3 in English and 3 in Spanish) where students and families ENJOY Winter/Holiday Book Read-Alouds by grade level teachers! Books will be read in both English & Spanish.
Take pictures with Santa and his ELF
Enjoy a cup of Hot Cocoa while writing a letter to Santa or coloring a Winter themed picture
We will also send a reminder paper flyer home with students tomorrow so please check your child's backpack! We hope to see you and your families on Thursday.

Este es un recordatorio de que la Noche de Alfabetización Polar Express, (literatura) es el jueves 7 de diciembre de 5:30 a 7:30. Este es un evento de alfabetización para toda la familia. La noche incluirá:

Una actuación de canto de 1er grado.
¡Las familias rotarán entre 6 estaciones rotativas de ALFABETIZACIÓN (3 en inglés y 3 en español) donde los estudiantes y las familias DISFRUTAN de lecturas en voz alta de libros de invierno y días festivos a cargo de maestros de nivel de grado! Los libros se leerán tanto en inglés como en español.
Hagan fotos con Santa y su ELF
Disfruten de una taza de chocolate caliente mientras escriben una carta a Papá Noel o coloreen un dibujo con temática invernal.
