Hello and welcome to the 2023-24 school year!  My name is Megan Wilson and I am thrilled to be working with our learners in 3rd grade!  This will be my 19th year as a public school teacher, and my ninth year at McAuliffe!  I graduated from Western Illinois University where I earned my degree in Elementary Education, and continued my education at St. Xavier University in Chicago earning my Masters of teaching and leadership.   

My main goal for our students this year is to create an enriching and welcoming environment where children feel safe to learn, grow, and develop socially and academically.  When I am not in the classroom, I am spending time with my husband Brian, daughters Harper & Kendall and dogs Elvis and Gracie.  We enjoy swimming, reading, movies, and exploring all the sights and landmarks of the metroplex.  I am truly excited and honored for the opportunity to work with your little ones, I know it will be a great year!
