My name is Caroline Upham and I will be the new STEM teacher at Hebron Valley Elementary this year! I recently graduated from the University of North Texas with my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This will be my first year teaching and I am so excited to begin the journey! I love being outdoors in my spare time and spending time with close friends and family. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In my class, we will be able to do a lot of hands on activities and projects that encourage problem solving, all while informing students about the different careers that involve the different STEM fields. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate, problem solve, and think critically as a twenty-first century learner. It’s going to be a great year!
