Just a few quick things about me...
*this is my 20th year teaching, 15th at HVE
*I grew up in Highland Village and attended Marcus High School as a freshman only, when it was just a 9th grade campus, and then graduated from Lewisville High School.
*I attended and graduated college from Harding University in Arkansas.
* I have taught 3rd & 5th grade at Highland Village Elementary since 2004 and love it. It is a wonderful school!
* My family is very important to me. I have 2 wonderful girls. Both spent their elementary years at Highland Village. My older daughter is a third grade teacher in Arkansas. My younger daughter just started college and is a world famous Kilgore Rangerette.
I love my job, the main reason being the students. I enjoy the connections and relationships that we form in the classroom. I am thankful everyday for my job!
