Dear Creekside Families,

Welcome to Creekside Elementary! We are excited that you are a part of our Creekside family. The strength and excellence that have become synonymous with our wonderful school come from the uniqueness of each one of us. We are only complete with the talents, abilities, and personalities of each Creekside Cub. Please know that we value each and every one of you and view our relationship with you as partners in your child’s education. We look forward to a year full of exciting learning opportunities and memorable experiences.

As partners in your child’s educational experience, open and clear communication is vital. Each day your child will bring home a Cub Communication Card. This card is just one means of keeping parents informed of their child’s behavior choices at school. We hope you’ll praise good days, encourage better days, and help reinforce our school-wide expectations every day. A high expectation for engagement and learning is only part of Creekside’s mission. Being an honor student is great, but being an honorable student is just as important.

Other channels of communication include parent conferences, PTA meetings, the Creekside website, Facebook, and Twitter. We encourage parents to take part in social media and stay connected to the larger community throughout the school year. Not only are you staying connected, but you are also modeling digital citizenship for your child to reflect upon in the coming years.
