Counselor's Corner

The LISD counselors are dedicated to a dynamic guidance program that supports the developmental foundations of all students. We believe in the dignity and worth of each individual and that all students can benefit from a preventive and developmental guidance program. This process involves the full participation of school personnel, parents, and the community.

As your Creekside Elementary Counselor, I will visit each class for Guidance Lessons. During these sessions, I encourage students to develop a positive self-image, become aware of their relationships with others, and recognize their own needs and goals. I tailor my approach to meet the unique characteristics and needs of each age and grade level.

The purpose of the guidance curriculum is to help students develop basic life skills and reach their full educational potential.
