• Be sure that you have reviewed the information on attendance laws and guidelines.  If your child is absent:

    • Please call the attendance clerk the morning of the absence or as soon as you know your child will be absent
    • You and your child can check teacher Canvas for their classwork.
    • Send a signed parent note the first day your child returns from an absence and remind him/her to take it to the office before school - if there was a doctor/medical visit, please send that note
    • Help your child manage completing all makeup work - students have one day for each day absent to make up work and schedule any missed assessments that may need to be taken before or after school with the teacher
