Lamar Middle School A-K Counselor

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the A-K counselor at Lamar Middle School.  This is my twelfth year in education and my eighth year in school counseling.  I am originally from South Carolina; however, I have lived in Texas so long now that I consider myself a certified Texan.

My goal as your child’s school counselor is to provide a trusting, safe, and welcoming environment to assist students with academic and social/emotional growth while working collaboratively with parents/guardians, teachers, support staff, and administration.   Each day is a new adventure that I am excited to go on with your child!  I look forward to what this school year has to offer!
