Mrs. Meder is returning for her 5th year Tiger! She was raised in Florida where she attended Florida State University, GO NOLES, and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching 2nd and 5th grades there, Mrs. Meder got married and moved to NYC (Manhattan) where her husband, Dave, was attending school. Two years later Dave was offered a teaching position at UNT in their jazz music school and they relocated to Texas. Mrs. Meder spent two years teaching 4th grade in Plano before making the move to LISD. After two years in 5th grade, she made the move back to 4th! She is very grateful to be able to see her students for another year on campus. 

In her spare time, Mrs. Meder loves to travel domestically and abroad. Meeting new people, learning about other cultures, and trying amazing food is something she never wants to stop doing.

On the weekends you’ll find Mrs. Meder spending time with her husband, daughter Lucy,  and her two wonderful cats, Tally and Nola!
