Ms. Gipe has taught at Timber Creek Elementary since the 2010-2011 school year.  Within that time period she has taught two years of third grade and eleven  years of fourth grade.  

She feels blessed to be a teacher and part of the Timber Creek Family!  As an educator, she looks forward to the professional and personal challenges that every new school year brings and anticipates getting to know her students as they dig into new learning.  

Prior to teaching at Timber Creek Elementary, she taught nine years of fifth grade; four with The LISD and five at Aubery ISD.  She feels lucky to have started her career in Honolulu, Hawaii where she had the opportunity to teach music and art at Aliamanu Elementary School.  She attended Wichita State University where she earned a Bachelor of Art Education. 

Ms. Gipe has been part of the Flower Mound community for over 20 years.  She has two fabulous children who graduated from Marcus High School and “a way cool” cat named Yoshi.  She enjoys reading, cooking, a rigorous crossfit workout with friends, and taking some quiet time to draw, journal, etc.
