Mrs. Ashley Mondlock has been teaching at Timber Creek Elementary School since the 2016-2017 school year. First as a 4th grade teacher and for the previous six years in a 2nd grade classroom. She is excited to be returning to the Fabulous Fourth Grade team for this upcoming school year!

She truly believes in our Timber Creek motto, “Building Leaders Today, to Change Tomorrow!” and strives each day to create an environment and opportunities for our TCE Tigers to learn and grow. 

As a proud product of LISD from elementary through high school (LHS - Go Farmers!) she is beyond thrilled to have been a part of LISD’s teaching staff since 2012. There is truly nowhere else that she’d want to be or an organization that she has more faith in.

Prior to teaching at Timber Creek Elementary School, Mrs. Mondlock taught for four years at Independence Elementary School first as a Language Acquisition Specialist, and then in 4th grade Dual Language and ESL classrooms.  

She attended North Central Texas College where she received her Associate’s Degree followed by Texas Woman’s University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration on Elementary Education. She is certified by the state of Texas to teach Early Childhood through 6th grade as an ESL/Generalist as well as being certified to teach Special Education from Early Childhood through 12th grade. 

Mrs. Mondlock  is married to her high school sweetheart whom she met while participating in Lewisville High School’s marching band. They have a 8 year old son who is in 3rd grade at TCE. They also have a beautiful 3 year old daughter in PK. Mrs. Mondlock loves animals, too, and has a dog, gecko and pet snake at home.
