About Me: I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler, and I had the pleasure of teaching PreK (3 years) and 2nd Grade (6 years) in East Texas before making the transition to LISD. I am incredibly excited about teaching Computer Science to an entire campus. May each student’s interest in STEM be peaked, may their minds be stretched and may their hearts full!
At LISD STEM Academies, students have the unique opportunity to explore the STEM field of Computer Science more in depth than on a traditional elementary campus. Computer Science is the place for technology exploration! We will spend the year looking at an array of apps and programs that students can use in their classrooms and at home in their free time. Students will work on their coding skills and be introduced to an assortment of robots. We will look towards the future and explore the careers available to them in Computer Science. Get excited!
