I'm so excited to be entering into my eighth year here at Camey Elementary and my fourth as yje librarian in the place I call home! I feel very honored to be able to make my transition from a classroom teacher to a librarian at the elementary school I love and with the amazing educators and students that I know and love. I was born and raised in Lewisville, TX and I'm a proud product of LISD schools. I went on to receive my Bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University and my Master in Library Science degree from Sam Houston State University.  

Reading is such a huge part of my life and I love being able to help foster a love for reading in all our Camey Cobras! I also love helping our students become 21st century learners and learn the new ways technology can make their learning even more impactful. The best part of my job is immersing our students in both a literature and technology rich environment! 

Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life.
