As the library media specialist, I hope to encourage students to read, develop research skills, and help students become life-long learners. The Southridge Library has a wide variety of books and resources for students to use.

When I was a child, I loved books and my parents would joke about how I would take a suitcase full of books on summer family vacations. I grew up in Nebraska but moved to Texas for graduate school. I earned my Master of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University and I am excited to be a member of the Southridge learning community!
