Message from the Principal

Greetings, Timber Creek Family!
When you ask a Timber Creek staff member what they hold near and dear to their heart about our learning organization, you will most likely hear a reference to our sense of family. This sentiment is something I treasure most about our campus. We are not just a school; we are family, and we welcome YOU to our “home” at TCE!
As a recognized Leader in Me school, we focus on providing leadership opportunities and experiences for ALL students. Our campus leadership motto is Building Leaders Today to Change Tomorrow. We are passionate about empowering our students to set, track, meet and surpass goals in order to reach their full potential. We talk about lead measures, as well as establishing a cadence of accountability along the way.
When I think about the individuals who have had the most positive influences on my life, they have similar characteristics. They demonstrated unconditional love, genuinely believed in me, and expected nothing less than my best. I feel these ideals envelop my philosophy as a public educator.
Timber Creek is a place where ALL students learn and grow, academically, socially, and emotionally. We are about supporting the whole child and nurturing a growth mindset. Perseverance and overcoming obstacles are just as important as those experiences that come easy for us. It is imperative that we cheer our students on and celebrate small successes along the way throughout their educational careers.
As your campus principal with twenty one years of service in LISD, it is my great honor to serve your family at TCE. Our administrative team maintains an open-door policy to make ourselves accessible to all stakeholders and ensure we are available to meet your needs. Please stop by to say “hello” and feel free to contact us by phone or email at any time. We look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s success!
In addition to my work life, I value spending quality time with my family and loved ones. My daughter is a recent graduate of Texas A&M (Class of ‘23), and my son is heading back to Texas Tech as a sophomore this year! Both attended LISD schools!
If you want the best of the BEST, then you are in the right place: LISD, where EVERY ONE belongs!
Very sincerely,
Ms. Amy Middleton
