My name is Karina Pasley, and I am happy to be a new member of the Memorial family. This is my 5th year with LISD, and my 15th year of teaching. As the Language Acquisition Specialist at our campus, my focus is on working closely with classroom teachers to integrate effective teaching strategies that include essential linguistic accommodations. My goal is to support students in building their English language skills, while helping them to thrive and succeed as emergent bilinguals.
