Ms. Melissa Jitariu is a 3rd year teacher at TCE and will be teaching ELA and Social Studies. Ms. Jitariu is passionate about building relationships and making sure that every student feels seen and valued. She believes that everybody deserves to feel like a somebody and works to empower students to work to reach their goals and dreams. Something Ms. Jitariu values about TCE is the amazing community and family atmosphere Timber Creek instills and how Timber Creek is always striving to make leaders of tomorrow! 

Prior to Timber Creek, Ms. Jitariu studied for her Bachelors in Education at the University of North Texas and Graduated in December of 2022. There she learned about diversity, advocacy and building core values and practices of a quality educator. She is certified in ESL where she learned how to work with student’s with English as their second language.Ms. Jitariu has had the privilege of growing up within the LISD community all the way through High school, graduating from Marcus HS in 2017. 

Ms. Melissa Jitariu enjoys exploring different creative outlets such as cooking, music, and crafting. She is a huge animal lover-her favorite being a red panda! Ms. Jitariu also loves smiley faces because she says it reminds her that no matter what, you can always find something to smile about!
