Rebecca Carroll  grew up in Double Oak and graduated from Marcus High School. She graduated  from Austin College with a Bachelor of Arts and from Texas Woman’s University with a Master of Arts in Teaching. She also has a Montessori Teacher Certificate from Collin College. 

She believes in a whole child approach to teaching. When children are valued for their individual strengths, the whole class benefits. A positive and nurturing  classroom environment helps children take ownership of their own learning and creates life-long learners and leaders. 

She lives with her husband, Andy, and her  two sons, Henry (11) and Wesley (7). They have two dogs named Kenobi and Solo and a cat named Leia.
