Mr. James Keyes

Mr. James Keyes (J.P.) is a highly recruited electrical instructor from Houston, TX. He also works for National Field Services Training Center. He started doing electrical work at the young age of 15. Helping his uncles with their side work around homes and commercial properties. He was mentored into the electrical trade as soon as he could legally work. He was sought after directly out of Lee College Community College where he was successfully instructing the NCCER Electrical curriculum. With a 100% graduation rate and an 85% hire rate, he was displayed in the college's local magazine twice for his outstanding teaching and work ethics. Mr. Keyes has more than 15 years in the electrical field. Coming from an industrial, commercial and residential background, he has a broad understanding of all the different electrical fields. Running his own residential business outside the school, Keyes Electrical, he has become very successful at the young age of 33. Mr. Keyes can mold the student’s young minds on how to become a successful electrician while also mentoring those young adults in life and what it takes to overcome challenges he faced as a teen growing up. He has a particular strong suit towards relating to the students and guiding them through issues they may be facing in everyday life. His students will be certified with an NCCER License for electrical 1 and 2 at the end of their senior year. Beginning their career as a top apprentice with the opportunity to hire on with National Field Services right out of high school.
