Ms. Denisa Espinosa

Denisa Espinosa will be beginning the Veterinary Science pathway at TECC-W this year and will be teaching the Advanced Animal Science, Veterinary Medical Applications and Practicum courses. Ms. Espinosa is originally from Austin, Texas, but has spent the past 3 years teaching animal and veterinary science courses in Cy-Fair ISD outside of Houston. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and received her degree in Agricultural Education with a minor in Animal Science. Ms. Espinosa’s passion for agriculture blossomed in high school where she was highly involved in her school’s FFA chapter and enjoyed raising her lamb and goat projects. Ms. Espinosa loves to share her excitement and passion for the animal science and agriculture industry with her students and strives to provide a hands-on approach to learning all that this field of study has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her dog Oliver, cat Pippin and Princess Pearl the ball python.
