Technology, Exploration & Career Center WEST

TECC-W Hospitality & Tourism program has established partnerships with community businesses . Through these business partnerships students gain real world experiences and knowledge of the Hospitality & Tourism industry.

One of the partnerships is with the Hilton Garden Inn. They allow opportunities for our students to do job shadowing each sememster and they provide guest speakers to discuss the Hospitality & Toursism industry, the changes occuring in the industry, and opportunies for employment in the field. Chick-fil-a on Main Street in Lewisville provides guest speakers for our students to learn about the food industry as well as learn about marketing schemes that work successfully in the industry. Bahama Bucks provides guest speakers to explain the industry and how to draw business in during slow months.  We also have partnerships with colleges which allows students to learn about careers in the Hospitality & Tourism industry through guest speakers and college tours.
