After graduating from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!), I began teaching elementary school in Lewisville ISD! I have been in LISD for 11 years (not counting the 13 years I spent here as a student) and have loved every minute! I have a master's degree from Texas Woman's University in clinical mental health and school counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified School Counselor (CSC). I am so very excited to serve the Highland Village Vikings as your school counselor again this year!

At Highland Village Elementary, we will work to: make sure your student has fun and enjoys coming to school, create a desire for lifelong learning through collaborating with their peers, hands on learning, and fun/purposeful activities, encourage students to take risks and figure out how to be their own problem-solver, foster and facilitate independence and social-emotional competency, accountability, and problem solving skills, give structure, organization, and respect, have high-expectations, set the example to always do their best, and help each student reach and recognize their full potential. I can't wait to spend the school year learning and growing with you!
