Student Council is an organization for 4th and 5th grade students at Timber Creek. Based on an application process and teacher feedback, up to 25 students will be chosen to join.
The purpose of Student Council is to provide a service to Timber Creek Elementary: its students, teachers, and staff. Being a Timber Creek Student Council representative is a privilege. A representative is a person who sets a good example in academic achievement and social behavior. He/She will play an important role in our student body and have many responsibilities with various activities throughout the year.
Some activities STUCO takes part in at TCE are:
- Recycling Program
- Vision Night
- Community Service Field Trip
- Veterans Day Assembly
- Bake Sale
STUCO meets once a month afterschool to discuss projects and upcoming activities. Our Student Council goals include: promoting citizenship, leadership, school spirit, responsibility, and teamwork. Go Tigers!
