Hicks Student Council (StuCo)
What is the Student Council?Hicks StuCo is a true student-led organization. The purpose of StuCo is to give students an opportunity to learn about the government process, improve communication between students and staff, and promote school spirit. We also focus on many community service projects throughout the school year. Student Council helps sponsor special school events and even fun spirit days! Here are some of our favorite StuCo sponsored projects:
- LISD Stuff the Pantry food drive
- Rudolph's Red Nose Roundup - students get a red-painted nose for every donation
- March Madness - fundraising project with a basketball twist
