Hello! My name is Tori Moody, and I am very excited to be joining the Memorial family this year. I am a police wife, a girl mom, and a lifelong learner. This will be my sixth-year teaching 2nd grade in LISD. I am a Flower Mound High School grad, and a former collegiate soccer player. I graduated from Ouachita Baptist University (go Tigers!) with a degree in Elementary Education back in 2019. I am looking forward to building relationships with my students and families within the Maverick community. My teaching philosophy is all about building relationships, building student independence and confidence, and building a safe space that embraces all types of learners. I can’t wait to kick off the 24-25 school year!
