I am beyond thrilled to be a campus counselor at Durham. This is my 7^th year with LISD and my 15^th year in education. Prior to working at LISD, I was a Special Education Teacher, Special Education Counselor, and ARD Facilitator. 

 

I was born and raised in South Texas. After graduating high school, I attended Southwest Texas Junior College. There I received an Associate Degree in General Studies. I then transferred to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. There I received a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's Degree in Counseling.My family consists of my husband Barrett and dog Hazel.You can reach me at cookjc@lisd.net.
