Mrs. Sountha Xavier has been with LISD for 6 years and she enjoys the multilingual and the cultural diversity this district has to offer. Mrs.Xavier speaks 3 languages, Tamil being her first language and English/Sinhala being her second language. She understands when children find it hard to comprehend and understand a concept.  When this happens she has a few tricks up her sleeve ,these were taught by her teachers. She does translation work for the district as and when needed. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from University of Texas at Dallas.  She stayed home to raise her twin boys who are now in college. She enjoys spending time with her twins and her husband.
