• Hello,

     

    My name is Mattie Mackey.  I graduated from Sterling City High School, located in west Texas.   I earned my Bachelor of Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and my Master of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.

     

    This will be my 24th year in education, with this being my 15th year as a professional school counselor.  I have been a counselor at elementary, middle, and high school levels. 

     

    I live in Newark. My husband and have a blended family of 9 children and 5 grandchildren.  The youngest two girls are still at home. We currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats. 

     

    I am so excited to be at TECC-West and already LOVE IT here!!! 

     

    I look forward to serving our LISD students and families.
