Thanks to the Lewisville Education Foundation, CoServ, Scheels and LEF donors for providing grants to cover learning materials at several LISD schools.
Forest Vista Elementary has a rich tradition of excellence. Since the school’s opening in 1997, we have a dedicated group of professional educators, a good group of students eager to learn, and parents who are supportive of the school and active in their child’s education. Our campus is known for a high level of academic performance. We are not a campus that brags on our awards and accomplishments, but it is impressive to see our school consistently being rated as one of the best in academic excellence in Texas year after year. The staff here is dedicated to the notion that all students can and will learn, and they maintain high expectations for their students. This is also evident within our ICARE campus based character program.
Not only do we have high expectations for our students, but our school maintains a high level of parent volunteers. Our campus PTA works with the school to promote our campus and has been a vital part of our success. They help organize volunteers for the numerous events we have for our students throughout the school year.
We are proud to be in the Lewisville Independent School District and proud to be a part of the Forestwood Middle School and Flower Mound High School feeder zone.
