Mrs. Jewell has been in education for over 20 years, and is starting her 4th year in the Griffin Middle School Library. Before becoming a librarian, Mrs. Jewell worked in Gifted Education and taught high school Enlish. Mrs. Jewell is married with two boys and is excited to be part of the Griffin Pride!

 

Her Bachelor's degree is in English Literature from Southwestern College in Kansas. Mrs. Jewell has a Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University, and she also has a Masters in Library and Information Science from The University of North Texas.
