Indian Creek Elementary

Hello!

My name is Leah Pacheco, and I am excited to be your counselor this year at Indian Creek! I have 23 years of experience in both teaching and counseling. I am also a wife and a mother of 3 children, ages 17, 15 and 12.

I will provide lessons in the classrooms relating to responsible behavior, motivation to achieve, conflict resolution, decision making, and being a good friend. I will also see students individually and in groups. Groups are based on the individual needs of the students, i.e. - social skills, friendship issues, grief/loss, etc. Parents and teachers may make referrals, and the students can also refer themselves.

My goal is to help your child have a fulfilling experience at school, socially, emotionally, and of course, academically. I am here to help your child function positively and develop skills that will last a lifetime.
