Student Council helps build school spirit by sponsoring activities throughout the year. We increase student awareness through Red Ribbon Week and help the environment by holding various clean up day’s at school and in the community. We serve our community by holding a canned food drive and give the teachers monthly reminders of how much they are appreciated.
Student Council is one of the largest organizations at DeLay and promotes student leadership, school spirit, and community service.
Student Council is comprised of four committees: Energy and Environment, Teacher Appreciation and Community Service, Drug Alcohol Safety and Health, and Pride and Patriotism.
Get involved, attend a meeting, and make a difference at DeLay Middle School. Student Council meets in room 160 every Tuesday before and after school.
All student body is welcome to join Student Council. The only requirements are to come to the meetings and to want to make a difference in your school and community. If you are interested in finding out more information, you can contact Ms. Weston or Mrs. Eperjesi.
