No, VLA courses are authorized through the Texas Virtual School Network and attendance is set at 100% present upon successful completion of the course. However, the courses are NOT self-paced. Students are provided with a pacing guide with assignment due dates. Successful completion of the course is defined as a final course grade of 70 or higher.
