Who can ask for a transfer?

LISD accepts transfer requests to attend a school other than the one zoned by address.  Any student who lives in the boundaries of LISD and children of LISD employees and employees of businesses who provide custodial or transportation services for the district may request a transfer.  Additionally, the district will consider requests from other students who reside outside of LISD.
