Week of September 30 - October 4
What will the Masterminds be doing this week?
Writing- Students will practice cursive letters L and B and will analyze personal narratives by comparing and contrasting sample writings.
Language Arts - Recognize and analyze print and graphic features and their purpose in a text.
Science - Not this week.
Social Studies - We are continuing with identifying and learning about the way of life for the different native texan tribes.
Math - Adding and subtracting whole numbers and decimals
REMINDER: New Visitor Rules require that everyone present your picture ID at the “doorbell” for entrance into the building. This is a big new change for LISD, but it is about keeping the students safe. I know the procedure is strange to most of you, but it does work. I have been presenting an ID at my own child’s school since he was a kindergartner…he is now in the 8thgrade. I just have my ID ready before I ever leave my car.
