Important Information:

REMINDER: New Visitor Rules require that everyone present your picture ID at the “doorbell” for entrance into the building. This is a big new change for LISD, but it is about keeping the students safe. I know the procedure is strange to most of you, but it does work. I have been presenting an ID at my own child’s school since he was a kindergartner…he is now in the 8thgrade. I just have my ID ready before I ever leave my car.

21 Day Challenge Information:

Sept. 23 @ 12:01 a.m. through Oct. 7th @11:59 p.m. — On-line sign-up at kids-teaching-kids.com  Only parents may sign children up using parent email. No one will be allowed to sign up after October 7th. And there's no 8 digit code to have to remember this year. YAY!

Oct. 7th - Oct. 27th — 21 Day Challenge! The challenge isn’t complicated. Feel free to use the recipes in the healthy snack booklet or come up with your own thing. A healthy snack is as simple as choosing a banana instead of a candy bar or a handful of almonds instead of a handful of M&M’s. Please send pics of your healthy meals.

Nov. 11th @ 12:01 a.m. through Nov. 18th @ 11:59 p.m. — Parents be on the lookout for an email from MCCH that links to a short survey required to complete the challenge.

MCCH will provide rewards for all students who signed-up for the challenge and completed the post survey. But let’s encourage healthy snacking because great health is the best reward of great choices.
